Discover the Trims of the 2019 Honda Pilot
Trim levels are often most of what distinguishes one model of car from another. That may seem like a trivial distinction to the serious buyer, but sometimes that all it takes to make or break a sale. Still, that doesn’t mean trim doesn’t improve a car’s appeal or make it attractive, and even useful.
The 2019 Honda Pilot is an SUV with five different trim levels; three of those are described below, and the range of those three levels should give you an excellent picture of all choices. And beyond that, the Pilot is just a great car, no matter how you fit it out.
Honda Pilot LX
Yes, it’s the base trim level, but its features are not sparse. Models of this type have a powerful V-6 engine (280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque). A six-speed automatic is included (and a smooth ride), so you can get good fuel economy on the highway or in the city.
Speaking of great features, the engine has a push-button start. Get inside, and up to 8 adults will sit in comfort. Safety features are plentiful and include the Honda Sensing® suite. It includes a multi-angle rearview camera, forward collision warning, lane-keeping assist system, and adaptive cruise control.
Honda Pilot EX-L
This is the next highest trim level. It has Smart Entry for unlocking your car when you are close and Walk Away Auto Lock when you leave. Remote engine start works well for convenience, and automatic climate control paired with heated seats is even better. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and an 8-inch display and audio screen round this level out.
Honda Pilot Elite
This is the highest trim level; it has a nine-speed automatic, with a boost in fuel economy. You get a panoramic roof, heated and ventilated front seats, Mobile HotSpot function, and a wireless phone charger.
