What’s New on the 2020 Honda Pilot?

The Honda Pilot has graced roads for over 15 years, but it continues to turn heads. Following on the cusp of a complete overhaul last year, the 2020 Honda Pilot nonetheless features a variety of new options and design.

This latest Pilot still sports a 3.5-liter V6 engine, capable of putting out 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, this standard engine provides smooth power in a variety of circumstances. When coupled with available all-wheel drive, the 2020 Pilot is capable of tackling the toughest of terrain, owing largely to its iTVM-4 advanced torque-vectoring system.

Various trim levels from previous years are available, including the all-new Black Edition. Featuring blacked-out grille, trim and door handles, the entire vehicle is painted with the unique Crystal Black Pearl color scheme. Paired with red interior lighting and accents, the Black Edition gives the Pilot a sharp sophisticated look for 2020.

Raw power and aesthetics aside, the 2020 Pilot also features a variety of new tech and safety features. From simple amenities like an available hands-free power tailgate to advanced safety options like automatic braking, lane-keeping assist, and active cruise control, the Pilot is cutting-edge on the inside as well as out.
