Performance Features

Aside from its unique structure, the new Ridgeline packs a punch with its 3.5L V6 engine generating an impressive 280hp horsepower and 262b-ft of torque. Honda has paired the engine with an i-VMT4 all-wheel drive system and a nine-speed automatic transmission to complement the output. All variants are also fitted with an Intelligent Traction Management System with multiple drive modes, including mud, sand, and snow.

The 2023 Honda Ridgeline also offers an impressive fuel economy with an EPA estimate of 18mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The engine is fitted with a stop/restart technology to increase fuel efficiency. The technology is designed to switch off the engine when you apply the brakes and restart it when you ease on the brakes. ESS technology is also used to deactivate an engine or two for better fuel economy.

Its V6 engine with an all-wheel drive system gives the Ridgeline a fighting chance against other models. With this powertrain, the model has a towing capacity of 5000 pounds which is lower than what other models offer. It also has a maximum payload is 1600 pounds making it ideal for hauling cargo from one place to another.

Design and Tech Features

The new Honda Ridgeline is only offered in a crew cab configuration with four doors. All trims are fitted with a 5.3 feet bed length extended to 6.9 feet with the tailgate down. The bed also spots a spray-in bed liner to make it dent and scratch-resistant. Stand out on the road with 18-inch alloy wheels finished in gloss black for the Black Edition and Pewter Gray for the RTL and RTL-E variants.

Its cabin opens to a spacious interior with a five-seater capacity. Honda has included a standard active noise cancellation feature to elevate passenger comfort. Enjoy more passenger space with 36.7 inches of rear legroom. Other comfort features include a tri-zone automatic climate control to regulate cabin temperature for optimal comfort, a heated front seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

All models have a standard 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The system offers standard smartphone integration features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Its center console was redesigned to feature a physical volume knob and screen icons to ease operation. It also boasts a quality audio system extended on higher trim levels with an in-bed audio system. Its audio system uses vibrating actuators, transforming the cargo bed into a speaker.
